Green and purple

This weekend coincided the presidency election in Iran. The suppressed green majority whose vote was not counted 4 years ago sneaked into the election again and with purple! And surprisingly this time they counted the votes. Now after 8 years of increasing tension with the world, Iran will have a fairly reformist candidate which gives some hope for a better tomorrow.

Together with some Iranian students at NTNU we celebrated this hope today with free cake and coffee and there was some debates and discussions later. All opinions were welcome but you see sometimes it is hard to find someone who disagrees!
